You are bidding on my personal NON-SMOKER daily driver Black on Black 2001 BMW X5 4.4i (AWD). I have owned this vehicle since August 2005 with around 39K on the dash and loved driving it from day one. Over all the paint is in good shape, there are a few dents on the car (but could possibly be popped out by a paintless dent removal company. The most noticeable ones are either side of the vehicle just between the front and back doors, and one on the center of the hood. There is also a scratch down the driver side of the car that I have had touched up (could not be buffed out). The inside is very clean, no tears in the leather. The only spot that even shows any wear would be the driver side ( I have always had floor mats so they took the bulk of the abuse). The carpets are still like new underneath of them, in fact the other 3 floor mats are like new condition (I was usually the only person in the car). It is set up for Navigation but the screen just recently went blank on me (the NAV DVD does not seem to be getting power) I have just been using a portable GPS. It also has AM/FM, Cassette, and a 6 Disc CD Changer that all work great. Both from seats are power and heated and the car also has both front and side airbags on both sides. The back seats have probably only ever been sat in a dozen times since I owned the car. The cargo area was used lightly and not very often (still have the original retractable cargo cover which comes in handy when you do have something in the back that you want to cover, it also has a full sized BMW alloy wheel for a spare. The car came factory with privacy glass, I did have the front driver and passenger side doors tinted to match (the driver side does have a scratch in the tint and I have a quote of $40 to have it re-tinted, I am sure this is about the same at any speed shop). The tires are all in decent shape, I did just have the front tires replaced a few month ago, but I could not find the same Bridgestone Run Flats at the time I had them done, so I replaced them with Michelin's and I have been very happy with them. Within the past 7 months I had the front end control arms replaced because the bushings were worn (I used Lemforder parts) which in the BMW forums are known to be top of the line. I just ordered a new windshield motor since the old one was acting up from time to time, also a new wiper arm for the rear wiper has been ordered as well (if these items arrive before the car is picked up I will have them installed, if not I will include them in the sale). I have been over-all happy with my experience with this car, it is just time for something new. I hope that the new owner will take car of it the way I did.
