- 1963 CHEVY NOVA SS - This is a real Super Sport. In 1963, Chevy II Nova came out with a SS package costing $161 and included special wheel covers, rocker moldings, wide side moldings, SS insignia, bucket seats, and special instrumentation. If the car was ordered with a Powerglide transmission, it came with a chrome console cover with a rear light. The SS option was only available on Nova Sport Coupes and convertibles. THIS IS ONE OF THE NOVA COUPES... Overhead - valve inline six of 194 cubic inches - rebuilt in 1989 at 85,263 miles Powerglide transmission - rebuilt in 1989 at 86,049 miles Springs, refurbished interior, exterior bodywork and repainted - in 1989 Refinished engine compartment and front suspension - in 1990 Interior fronts seats refinished - in 1990 Rear seat refinished - in 2009 This is a very nice weekend driver with only 91,414 miles; the bottom has been coated with POR 15 and the battery is new. The audio system is the Secretaudio SST which includes ipod and USB port with kickpanel speakers. There isn't any rust showing on the body or undercarriage. This Chevy II comes with the 1963 shop manual, supplement manual, custom features booket, assembly manual and both the Chevy II - full line brochure. All of the reciepts for the items listed above will be included. I'm the third owner and drove it 800 miles back from the second owners without any problems; the lights, the horn, the brake lights, the interior lights (roof & console), wiper & washers, and marker lights are all in working order. It will come with the steelbelted tires and the radial tires that are on the vehicle in the photos.
