1971 Datsun 240 Z Vin # HLS30011365, first sold in 1970, presently registered as un operative. I bought the car from the original owner in San Diego, CA in 2002, with the odometdor reading 180,000 miles. I dismantle the car for a total restoration and that is where it is today. The car has been outside covered since September 2003. The inside vehicle parts have been stored in the garage, the doors, fenders and hood have been covered outside. The transmission and smaller parts are in crates. The engine has been rebuilt and is stored in the garage also. The underbody of the car was painted with a rustollem paint, the original orange, before storage in the back yard. I have all the parts except the windshield and the water pump, which were broken. I have all the emblems, chrome and many new rubber parts along with one of the original owners manuals. I have the original rims and hubcaps.
