1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass S 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass S two door hardtop with vinyl top and all numbers matching. Actually a rare car as not many of these were built in this style. Was built in California and has been on the west coast it’s entire life. Completely rust and bondo free. Have recently put the following into the car: New performance oil pump, new water pump, found original color matching wheels that first came with car when sold new. Found and installed original steering wheel. Has new seals and gaskets. Added an oil pressure, heat sensor, and voltage meter gauge. Original engine still runs strong and is a daily driver. I bought this car to work on while still being able to drive it. Now have first child on the way and need something more family friendly. While it runs strong, there are a few cosmetic things items that still need to be done before showcasing: While headliner is done and beautiful, the seat covers will need to be replaced at some time. The car is a beautiful color, but the previous owner who painted it didn’t do a great job as there are a few areas the paint is starting to chip or flake so it will need to be painted before its ready for show. I tried to show these areas as best I could in the pictures. A few chrome pieces are missing, but I’m including some with the sale of car. Other then that the car is done. It’s an ideal fairly simple project as it can be driven and relied upon while the above cosmetic items are addressed. The headliner and wheels are big positives as original Oldsmobile Cutlass wheels can go for $1,000 alone online and anyone who’s tried to replace a headliner knows how much of a hassle it can be. Body is straight and there is also no sun or other damage to the dash, and the vinyl top is still in very good condition. Passed smog and have a clear title. $250 down payment upon completion of auction, and rest due in cash upon pickup.
