1966 Mustang Coupe Body: This car is rusty and crusty and beat to the ground. With the parts currently available it woudn't be a bad fix. It needs fenders, doors and quarters. I haven't pulled the carpet out but count on having to replace the floorpans. The radiator supports, aprons, torque boxes, roof, hood, cowl and firewall, door jambs, tail panel, and trunk lid all appear to be in good shape. There maybe a small spot on any of these but none need any serious attention, There is some rust around the rear spring shackle which will need to be addressed (seen in picture). I think this car is a little too good just to be parted out. Mechanical: This car has not run in approximately 5 years. There is a 289 V8 with an aluminum Edlebrock intake, carb and headers. The engine bay is completely intact with no parts removed. The previous owner drove it to a parking space where it has sat for the past 5 years (unfortunately under pine trees). The engine is not locked up and I have made no attempt to get it running. I assume the automatic is a C4 (not a Ford guy) and the rear is the 8 in. Interior: I believe the color is parchment. It is the optional pony interior with a usable console. It looks to me like everything else would be re-buildable cores. The interior is rotten, baked, cracked, stained and in all-around horrible condition. It will all need to be replaced (see pictures). Miscellaneous: I have described this car to the best of my ability. It is over 40 years old and is sold AS IS WHERE IS. I will be glad to help load.
