Hi: I am looking to sell my Corvair. I have had it for about 4 years and looking for a new project. It runs strong and it is a nice weekend car. The car has been restored with the help of Mel Raven of MJ Vairmart in San Jose. He did all of the engine work. It has about 5000 miles on the engine he rebuilt. It is a 140 HP Corsa engine and a 4 speed trans. The car was a white car with a white interior. I have changed it to a blue car inside and out. The car was made in Los Angeles and has been in California for its whole life. The previous owner owned the car from 1975 to 2007 when I bought it. He was a very nice and gentle old guy. The interior has all new upolstery from Clarks Corvair parts. The back seat, door panels, and carpet. The front seats are from a 1997 Mitsubishi. They have racing seat belts on them for added safety when driving. There are back seat belts as well. The original radio works well and I have added a Sony sound system under the dash with speakers in boxes behind the back seat. There was no drilling into the car, so it can all be taken out without any marks left on the car. The paint is 4 years old and still nice. The rims are 14x7 Outlaw I drag wheels. The tires are fine, could use new ones, but since I only drive the car about a 100 miles a month I have not invested in those. I have an extra 1965 engine block that comes with the car. It is pulled apart and has some useful parts. I also have a brand new 14x7 rim for a spare tire to make it a matching set. Still in the box. Please email me if you have any other questions.
