He purchased it used from the local Dodge dealer a couple of years ago. He had the transmission rebuilt around a year and a half ago. It received all of the upgraded components in the transmission ( with the exception of the torque converter). For some stupid reason they installed a rebuilt torque converter back in . Well, the torque converter failed. The customer has started to remove the transmission to get to the torque converter, but nobody would help him. He gave up.So now it's my job to sell it for him. You are looking at a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD Crew Cab LT 4x4 Dually. It is powered with a 6.6L Duramax Diesel V8 and 5 Speed Allison automatic transmission.. It is equipped with dual leather power bucket heated seats, power mirrors,power windows, power locks , am/fm/cd player,spray-in bedliner, retractable gooeneck hitch,and receiver hitch. Also included is one remote. The interior of this truck is in average shape for the mileage and age. The front seats need to be recovered. The back seat is fine. The carpet is still in decent shape. The only other thing I notice some of the tan paint is peeling on the dash. The exterior of the truck has got some character. There is nothing major, but both dually fender need to be repainted along with the hood and replace the tailgate.The doors also show a few cosmetic flaws. Mechanically this truck is suppose to run good, but I have not heard it , so I can't give an honest answer.He did not say anything did not work, but I will give no guarantee !The tires are missing a wheel and need a new set.
