I have a clean & clear California State Title in hand that is ready to be signed over to the Lucky Winner. This Suburban is currently registered in California and the registration is good until Dec. of 2011. This Very Cool West Coast Suburban Runs & Drives Great and it is Clean & Solid inside & out! The 327ci. SBC V-8 Engine Runs Strong and the TH350 3spd. Automatic Transmission Shifts Smooth. The pictures seen here are current and show the exact condition that this 1966 Chevy is in as of today. I had this Chevy for sale locally and my asking price was $12,500.00 or make reasonable offer. _________________________________________________________________________________________ 1966 CHEVROLET CUSTOM 1500 4x2 SWB SUBURBAN Rare-1966 Chevrolet 4x2 SWB Suburban-327ci,Auto,P/S,P/B with Rear Clam Shell Door & Tail Gate. When was the last time that you seen one of these at a drive in or show, let alone with these options? This Suburban is in great running and driving condition. It is very dependable, comfortable and ready to be driven or cruised the same day you take possession without any mechanical concerns or worries. The SBC 327ci. V-8 Engine is strong and run's excellent! The engine was professionally rebuilt & completely overhauled from top to bottom aprox. 1000 miles ago. It has factory Power Steering & Power Brakes. This truck had a/c at one time but is inoperable at this time. The ignition system was upgraded to an HEI. The Engine and the Engine Bay Compartment are clean & and look very nice. It has a Rochester 4bbl. Carburetor with the Factory GM 4bbl. Intake along with a set of Original GM Double Hump Cylinder Heads with Original GM Cast Iron-Ram or Center Dump type Exhaust Manifolds with and Duel Exhaust that sounds very nice. It has a GM 3spd. TH350 Automatic Transmission with the Original on the Column Shift Lever. All of the fluids are clean and full. The suspension is nice & tight. This Suburban drives, steers, stops and rides very nice! The brakes stop great and the emergency brake is in good working condition. It drives straight and the steering wheel is centered and true. This Southern California 1966 Chevy Suburban is a true survivor! The body is amazingly very solid for it's age and all of the body panels appear to be original to the truck with no visible sign of rust or rot. The floors pans are clean and very solid. The undercarriage is clean and detailed nicely. This 1966 Suburban is rolling on a set of 8" GM Rally Wheels with Dog Dish Style Center Caps. The wheels, wheel caps and the trim rings are clean and in nice condition. It has a set of 4-Like New 255/60R15" BF Goodrich Radial TA Tires with 90-95% tire tread. All of the lights and lenses are new and in excellent condition. The headlights have been upgraded to HID. All of the glass and the windows are in great condition with no cracks, breaks or chips present. All of the windows are tinted, the window and the door seals are new. The chrome and the stainless trim are original to the truck and they are in good to fair condition. The paint is 10 + yrs. old and is presentable. I would consider the paint to be in good, driver quality condition. The paint shines well. Upon close inspection there are some chips and imperfections present. The interior is clean and it looks very nice inside. The front & rear seats are very comfortable and in great condition. The drivers seat has full power with adjustable lumbar supports and all 4 seats fully recline. It has new carpet from front to back. The carpet is clean and looks & fits very nice. It has a solid wood GRANT Steering Wheel. All of the gauges on the dash are in good working order. The dash is original and has never been cut up or hacked out. There is no radio installed at this time. The lights, blinkers and the wipers are all in good working order. A good spare tire & wheel are included with this sale. There are a few minor things that could use attention. These few things do not effect the way that this Suburban runs or drives. The drivers arm rest is missing, the dome light on the ceiling is missing and the horn needs connected to the cap inside the steering wheel. I will be selling this vehicle to be a complete, running and driving project. This 1966 Chevy Suburban is clean and is in great running and driving condition. Perfect to drive or show as is. It would be a perfect candidate to have restored back to Show Room New condition later on down the road if you choose.
