1979 Triumph Bonneville

This 750 cc 1979 Triumph T-140E was purchased a few years ago by my boss, a guy in his 60's. He is a real enthusiast and did a great deal of work and invested quite a bit in parts & upgrades... New seat, fork legs & seals, mufflers, fenders, sprockets, chain, black diamond valves, Pazon electronic ignition, Hayward primary belt drive (saves 10 lbs!), nearly all stainless steel nuts & bolts, transmisson bearings and a few gears where there was even slight wear. Also... carbs rebuilt, all new cables, master cylinders, braided front brake line, stainless steel wheels & spokes, new wiring, oil pressure gauge in custom billet aluminum bracket and a trick positive crankcase ventilation system that actually lets this bike idle below 500 RPM (the Mag-light flashlight shell acts as the condensor)... it works! This motorcycle has made several trips (always trailered) to the Northeast, the North Carolina mountains and has been over much of the Blue Ridge Parkway (2 up) as well as several runs on the Dragon & Cherohala Parkway. In short, as good as this bike looks, it is set up for RIDING and runs very strong. I got the bike as compensation for overtime managing our restaurant here in Panama City Beach. I ride the bike here around the beach and have really enjoyed turning heads with it but I really want to get into off road riding so I must let it go.
