Hi- I'm a small used car dealer in near Sioux City and I'm not even using the inflated retail values that dealers use. I'll use the lowest value available- private party....KBB Private Party Value: Excellent: $8810; Good $8260; Fair $7410. I'm only asking $4999 for the truck. I got a great buy on it and I am passing the savings on to you. I am selling a 2004 Chevy Colorado LS Z71 Extended Cab (4 door) 2 Wheel Drive Pickup. They did offer the Z71 on the 2wd. It runs and drives good and still looks great. The pictures really show the truck the way it looks, very aggressive, straight, and sharp. My son detailed it and the truck is clean and the engine area is clean too! There is no touch up paint on the body- it's all original and in good shape. My son did lightly spray the outside of the frame rails just to blacken them up, but they were already pretty black before he did it. This is a one owner truck. He purchased new as a demo with 3500 miles or so, and moved from Nebraska to Iowa, which is why it showed title change. It has power windows, locks, air conditioning (works), cruise (works), tilt, am/fm CD, sliding rear glass, and all of the other standard LS features. It sits up super nice, and has no major dents and no rust anywhere on the body that I could find, not even a rust bubble! It is a one owner truck and it was just driven on a trip across the state of Iowa and back, so I believe it is reliable. It doesn't have any leaks or have any smoke when running. It does have the 3.5 liter 5 cylinder engine and does have 97,500 original miles. It has never been in an accident to my knowledge. I have driven it 40 miles and it runs good, stays straight down the road, shifts good, and has plenty of power. Oil and antifreeze both look fine. Owner said it did not burn oil, nor did he tell me anything it might need. It was used personally and also in the construction business by himself. OK- I have 100 positive feedbacks now, and most of them are for vehicles I have sold, because I believe in FULL DISCLOSURE, and yes, not telling something when you know it is just as good as lying, and with me, I tell ALL of the negatives that I know of. The reason I love this business is because I wanted to be a dealer that is 100% honest, not just for my benefit but for the benefit of the buyer, no matter who they are. You deserve that. Here are the negatives: Small dings and scratches here and there. Expect a fender or area to have a ding or a scratch of some kind. It was used in business and it shows. Windshield has a crack across that I personally would not fix, but you may want to. Interior is clean now but has stains here and there and all over including a white paint stain in the back. Interior also smells OK, but not new- was smoked in. Passenger window does not work and I do not know why, the switch in that door has been removed, I suppose so it would not be used. CD player does not work. Display on radio does not work and has crack on it. The sound system does sound nice though and has good reception. Tires are OK and fine but probably should be replaced in the next year. The front tires have more wear on the inside of the tire than the outside as well. Engine light is on now and was checked out by Chevy dealer and they could not identify the issue. They did replace a O2 sensor but it's still comes on intermittently. Airbag light is also on and do not know why. When coming to a complete stop it will idle down a little lower than normal then idle back normal. This was checked out also but no fix. It runs good but again when coming to a sudden stop it idles lower for a second then comes back to normal. Front left bottom of bumper valance is missing (I have the pieces- not sure why I kept them). Small trim pieces may have wear on inside, especially plastic ones inside driver door panel is cracked with small platic piece missing-see pic, front right wheel is missing center hubcap, tailagte opens but from inside bed (assembly is all there and opens easy from inside- plactic piece missing there too). Air conditioner blows cold and works, but when in town driving took a while longer to really get cool. On the highway or under heavier throttle it works colder- pretty much the same on any car, but noticeable to mention. I have sold many Mercedes, Nissan, VW, Chevy, and Honda cars and trucks on here and have always tried to make it the best experience for the buyer. I will do the same for you. Disclaimer: After 11 years of selling vehicles on ebay, almost every transaction has been an awesome one. However, there must be a very clear agreement and understanding made on my auctions. I would rather sell the vehicle for less to someone who is good to deal with than someone who is not. If you are a person who does not understand what "used" and "as is" means, then DO NOT BID. I do the best to describe vehicles but I am not perfect and nether will the vehicle be perfect. there may be a fluid that is dirtier than you had expected, a noise that is louder than you expected, or a tear, scratch, and defect that you did not expect. MOST PEOPLE understand this on Ebay and those are the people I want to deal with. For those that DON'T UNDERSTAND this, then DO NOT BID. GO TO ANOTHER AUCTION!
