NO RESERVE ACTION NO RESERVE ACTION NO RESERVE ACTION NO RESERVE AUCTION Very clean, well maintained 2 owner Audi A4 Quattro. Newer PA inspection & emission is good till May 2012. This car has the very reliable, well maintained Audi 2.8 engine that runs excellent. Timing belt, water pump, seals, plugs and a tune up were done at around 90,000 miles. This car has the Tiptronic transmission that shifts as it should, either as an automatic or via steering wheel / floor tiptronic controls. The car has new Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires, as well as a newer Interstate battery and left side catalytic converter. Inside and out, this car looks and runs like a 3 year old car. The body is in very good overall condition without a single ding or dent, except for a curb bump by the right front wheel and a few minor scratches on the rear bumper (see photos). The factory wheels have some curb rash, but no other damage. They balanced perfectly with the new tires and the ride is excellent without a single rattle, squeek or thump. The fully loaded leather (smoke-free) interior includes full power and adjustable heated seats that are without a single tear, rip or hole. The AC blows cold and everything works as it should, except... Being a 10 year old car, there are a few issues. The pixels on the dashboard diagnostics display are out. I am told this is a common issue with the Audi A4 and in fact most if not all have the same issue to one extent or another. Once running, the check engine light comes on every once in a while. Audi said it's an O2 sensor that maybe going soon. The heater core was replaced in 2008, but last winter the heat was not getting hot enough, so I had the radiator flushed and the heat worked as it should. Also, when Audi replaced the heater core, they also installed a new motor that regulates the blower fan, so the air comes out of the vents as it should. The check airbag light in on. Audi quoted me $800.00 to replace the wiring harness, but they did not take anything apart to diagnose the problem, they just told me that it is likely they wiring harness. This is a worse case scenario, but you or your mechanic may be able to diagnose and repair this considerably cheaper. The Bose stereo radio and all of the speakers work, but the CD player does not. Please take these matters into consideration when bidding, even though none these issues affects the actual performance of the car. I have done my very best to describe everything I know about this car which we purchsed from Audi off-lease in 2004. The car was used by my daughter through high school and college and now that she has a new car there is no room in the driveway and the car must go. In addition, you must take posession of the car no later than August 1, 2011. The car is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS, without any warranty.
