1984 VW Campervan 1.9 watercooled petrol engine with fuel injection. Vangon GL. Country homes camper conversion Serviced this spring, runs well and has new tyres. Very little rust on bodywork, slight crease in tailgate from and old bump. Interior in good condition with slight wear and tear from over 20 years of use. The van has been well cared for over the years. Some new spare parts in the van (Spark plugs/ filters etc) Two faults to report. Gas struts on tailgate have given up and. need replacing. Speedo cable clip and broken and speedo cable drops out from time to time. It does call into question the recorded mileage of 222352 but its probably about right for age of van. We bought this van in March and used if for our stay in Washington state. Holiday is now over and we are selling. The van is now in storage in a Public Storage Depo near Seatac Airport. It is available for viewing. The Public Storage manager is holding keys and has offered to let buyers view the van but not leave the compound with it. Address on request. Battery has been disconnected under front seat and will need to be reconnected to start the van, so u would need some tools. We have left the registration documents with our brother in law, who lives in Richland, Washington. He regularly visits seattle to visit his son in Lake Union area. We are going to ask him to handle to legal documents to complete the sale of the van. Payment can be made by paypal. I suspect potential buyers would prefer the security of buying through paypal. Other payment methods would also be fine. Van is in great condition and I’m sure buyers would be happy with it. Viewing and hand over of documents may be a hassle but I would say its worth it if you get the van at a good price.
