For sale is a Low Budget, Transportation Special....1985 Honda Rebel 250 with just 15,668 miles. This would be a super bike for a "learning" bike, college student or someone who wants to save gas & use it for a local "commuter" bike. It seems to be a decent bike. It starts fine, runs good & doesn't smoke, leak oil etc. The tires are OK, there are no tears in the seat. It has the factory exhaust and comes with a passenger sissy bar. I've added a battery tender lead, new mirrors and new front bakes. The turn signals light up but don't flash. It's definitely not like new and it's for sure not junk either! The pictures make the bike look a little better than it really is, the cosmetic appearance is quite clean but remember it is 26+ years old so there are nicks, some tarnishing & dullness here and there. I believe someone could buy this bike, use it for a year or two and could quite possibly get all their money back. The value's all there at only $950.00! The title is free & clear and in my name--ready to be signed over to the new owner. The title does show the 15,668 mileage to be accurate (not miles over, unknown etc).
