1988 Ford ASC McLaren Mustang convertible. #1079. One of only 1015 made in 1988. Original Paint! Azura Blue Pearlescent Clearcoat Metallic body, Regatta Blue 2-tone seats, and Deep Azura Blue roof. One of only 51 made in 1988 with this color scheme. Includes leather Recaro seats and Enkei wheels. Power seats, steering, locks. A/C, cruise, tilt wheel, dual exhaust. 5.0 engine. Cassette/cd player with remote. The ASC McLaren Mustang was developed and manufactured by American Sunroof Co. of Michigan. The convertibles started out as coupes. ASC converted them into convertibles, raking the windshield 20 degrees. This car is the 600th completed in 1988. This car was last plated in 2003. The original owner used it as a daily driver putting approx 70,000 miles on it. It was then purchased by a collector in CA, who then brought the car to AZ. It has been stored in a climate controlled garage. Owner passed. His estate sold the car. Car is in good shape. It has some minor cosmetics, such as door dings and a scrape on front lower passenger bumper which could probably be buffed out. Car runs nicely. Convertible top goes up and down with no issues. No tears or rips. Seats are in good shape with only minor wear mostly on drivers seat. Cleaned and conditioned the leather. Kenwood radio works well and speakers have good sound. Overall the car is in good condition. All maintenance receipts are available in a binder. According to the receipts, maintenance has been done diligently. New altenator was just put on. Clean and clear title. Car needs a good home with someone who appreciates it! Note: Possibility of arranging transport of vehicle at buyer's expense depending on destination.
