Vehicle Detail
This 2006 Mustang GT has been garage kept since I brought it home from the dealership. It only has 17,277 miles on it. It was just driven on off days and visits to car shows. The list of aftermarket parts is long. Let's start with the obvious. 20 inch Chip Foose nitro wheels. 8 1/2" wide in the front and 10" wide in the rear. The original color was Tungsten Gray and has had a full custom paint job done over it. The pain artist's name is Angel Sandoval and he has been doing custom paint in the Orlando area for years and is highly respected. The paint job has to be seen to be believed. It is a custom fade from dark blue at the nose all the way to the original gray at the rear deck spoiler. A similar fade was done on the rocker panels as well as air brushed details in key areas all over the car. He even painted just a few of the interior pieces the same blue as the outside. The interior of the car is black on black leather. I've added a Pioneer AVIC-d3 touchscreen Nav/Sat system and the best part is I did the wiring so that neither of the antennas had to go outside the car. Both are at the base of the rear window inside and work perfectly. I have added a custom gear shift knob, chrome climate control knobs, chrome cup holder bezel. The interior has just enough to dress it up without going overboard. I like a nice clean uncluttered look. I added a Pypes exhaust system. It sounds nice and tough but you can still carry on a conversation inside the car without yelling. There is Rousch quarter window louvers as well as Rousch three piece rear spoiler. LED aftermarket tail lights look sick! And the paint guy applied a smoke tint to them. They are one of my favorite features. There are also a few odd dress-up pieces under the hood. Oh, speaking of the hood. This aftermarket fiberglass beauty is a heat extracting hood called the Boy Racer. It looks amazing on this car and the custom airbrushing makes it look like there are shadow lines that look great. There is also a rear window "U" trim piece added to the outside to pay homage to this beauty's '66 grandfather. Oh, another thing. I changed the exterior mirrors with aftermarket ones with LED turn signals in them and had them painted along with the car to match. And when I added the hood, I removed the windshield wiper spray nozzles in the hood and bought a kit that reroutes them onto the wipers themselves. They work great and it makes the hood look nice and clean. And why Ford puts an antenna on their cars three miles long I'll never know so I put a shorty antenna on instead. Looks much better and no noticeable signal loss.
