It looks like one, but the Chevy experts say they can tell from the VIN and its a recreation. It looks real, but when you run the numbers it is not. I am stating this based on a couple of emails from guys that sound like they know the facts. The car looks like one in life, but if you run the numbers they say it is not. MILEAGE: 4124 reading and you can add another 100,000 TITLE: Clear title in hand. HISTORY I bought this car from a old man at the spring rod run in the Smokey Mountains. He had the engine rebuilt and the new paint put on within the last year. IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS? .None that I can find. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. PAINT : It’s a bright red and has a brilliant shine with no dents or dings. To look down the sides the car is straight. The paint has some hard to see touched up chips. CONVERTIBLE TOP: It is very good, it does have 1 small spilt in the right lower edge near the chrome, its where it folds and pulls going up and down. The boot is not correct for the top, it have velcrow and should have a rubber lip to connect it on the front edge. INTEROR: Very nice black interior, No real wear, no smoke smell, the seats, carpet and door panels are very nice. CHROME: All the chrome is nice with no dull places, the bumpers and grill are super nice, the stainless has a couple of very minor dings (super small). UNSERSIDE: Nice with no rusted holes or swelled places, not detailed for show, but as good as I would want for fun driving. The panels look original or somebody did a great job. GLASS: Good clear glass and the side window roll up and down good, windshield look new. ENGINE: The engine is a strong running 327 cubic inch, it has no blue smoke, no rattles, no pings, no knocks. EXHAUST SYSTEM: . Dual system that looks good. TRANSMISSION: .Its a nice shifting Power Glide automatic. REAR-END: No whines or growls, past owner said it was positive traction. BRAKES: Good, they are power assisted. STEERING: Good, the car drives great, it power assisted . WHEELS AND tires: The tires are good radials, the hubcaps the Super Sport spinner type. LIGHTS: They work, turn signals work, headlights work and the tail lights work. GUAGES: They work. SPEEDOMETER WORKS! WIPERS WORK! HORN WORKS! GAS GAUGE WORKS! Original radio does not work! HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE? I think they open and close good! TRADES: Please no trades, they never work out and are just to hard!
