This car is not restored!!!! Its totaly original except for a 20 year old repaint. The second owner repainted the car and pin stripped it, and custom painted the hood and the coves.(she did not like the lighter blue the car came with) The paint still shows very well after 20 years. With this car what you see is what you get. California car, never driven in New York No rust any where ever!!! It is totally numbers matching. Only 65000 miles!!!! Car was purchased by the 2nd owner in California in 1982 and lightly driven until 2001 when it was transported to NY and put in storage until 2010. Car was then taken out to be put back on the road and the following was done to make it roadworthy. But the previous owner never drove it in NY. 1. Replaced all belts and hoses and flush cooling system and refill 2. Flushed brake system and replace rotors calipers, pads and parking brake assembly. 3. Removed and flush gas tank and replace fuel lines and fuel filter rebuild carburetor 4. Flushed transmission and replace fluid and filter 5. Replaced transmission mount (rear) 6. Replaced catalectic converter 7. Replaced battery (replaced again this spring due to lack of use in past year) 8. Complete tune up including cap, plugs Ect. 9. New wiper blades 10. New sway bar links 11. New rear tires, front found to be legal (75% of tread left) rear tires have less than 2000 miles on them 12. Car was NYS inspected again this spring and passed with no further work 13. $4000.00 plus was spent on getting it ready Ps, PB, Power antenna, power windows, sport mirrors, T tops do not leak. Air conditioning converted to R134 and is ice cold. Custom paint in inserts and pin striping. Everything works on this car including power antenna, air, cruise control and all gauges. Only thing that i can find that does not work is the clock. ( I have yet to see one that does) I purchased the car this spring had it cleaned up and professional rubbed out and some pain chips brush touched, and have been driving it for a couple of months. I have had no problems with the car what so ever. Mechanically it seems to be in excellent shape (I have receipts for all the work that was done on it and a paper trail with a California title.) Currently titled in my name in NY and inspected. I am selling it because I have an artificial left knee and find I have a great deal of trouble getting in and out of it, otherwise I love the car. The car is quite presentable the way it is and can be driven with pride the way it is, or it can easily be brought up to the next level with a paint job ( Maybe just the bumpers) or it is an excellent rust free platform for a hot rod. All the original bonding strips are present and the car is a no hit vehicle. I have over $4000 in work that was done on it in the last year. Low book on the car is over $12,000 and high book is over $17,000, my reserve is below low book. THIS CAR IS INSPECTED AND ON THE ROAD NOW FOR YOU TO ENJOY FOR THE SUMMER. iT NEEDS NOTHING TO DRIVE IT. sINCE IT IS ON THE ROAD I WILL DELIVER IT WITHIN THE ROCHESTER AREA
