Vehicle Detail
No Reserve auction. If you make the opening bid and there are no others, it's yours. This is a great running little 4X4 van - a unique and interesting vehicle. We used it up at the ranch for going the four mile one-way trip to the mailboxes and it pulls through anything - snow, mud, hurricanes, tornadoes, tempests... It runs very well but the alternator is dead shorted, so it has been taken out of service, meaning that it runs off of battery. The transmission, transfer case, steering, brakes, all work exceptionally well and it was highway driven until last year when three windows were taken out in three separate tree accidents (all my fault) leaving the back door slightly dented and doing nothing to the left side other than breaking out two windows. In the pictures you can easily see that the right rear tail light is broken at the top as well as the left front parking lamp (cracked). On a brighter note, it comes with the other two bench seats in fairly good condition, one of which makes into a bed: the less wide middle seat has a missing arm rest. This is an Arizona vehicle so there is absolutely no rust leaving many good body parts and mechanicals for restoration of your VanWagon, or to put this back into full time road service with great gas mileage. All doors close tight and operate smoothly. The tires are OK for what we used it for, but may require renewing. The van has all five factory rims - highly sought-after. We bought the van from the prior owner where it had sat in the garage for months. Our total mileage hasn't been more than a thousand in the last three years. Time for her to go. Will it pass smog? I don't know: we don't require it in this part of Arizona. I do know that this is a highly treasured little van by many, and has been sold world-wide under a variety of different names, including Hilux. See www.yotavans.org. We are selling this envisioning that someone may need parts for their van that are unique to this vehicle, including a very functional transfer case, front differential, tight transmission and other suspension parts that are solid and useable. But, it could be put back to road-worthy condition, remembering, please, that you will need an alternator. This one comes with some extra parts, too.
