This is a very nice Original Sedan De Ville with just two owners. The mileage is correct. The car is originally from Rhode Island. It has original paint and shows some patina. It looks very good for 52 year old paint. It does have a few dings but nothing major. I have owned the car for almost 10 years and it has always been stored inside. The engine starts and runs very well and does not smoke at all. Two years ago, I rebuilt the carburetor and did a complete tune up: new wires, cap, rotor, spark plugs were all installed along with new fuel filters air filter and oil and oil filter. I also had the transmission rebuilt and resealed by a professional shop, work that I have receipts for. Last year, I installed a new brake master cylinder and had the brake booster rebuilt by Power Brake Booster Exchange. I have a receipts for this as well. I also changed the valve cover gaskets and had some of the engine parts powder coated in original colors. All the suspension components are tight and in good working order. All lights and switches work. The turn signals work perfect. The parking lights work the fog lights work the high beam indicator works; brake light works; Interior lights work and headlights work; even has original t-3's. The headliner, seats, dashboard are all in very nice original condition .The steering wheel has no cracks and looks perfect. The dash is nice and level with no cracks; the clock and ignition switch fit perfectly unlike the majority of 59's out there. The electric eye works, The original radio and antenna work. The rear license plate light works. The heater core is disconnected but the blower motor works. The windshield wipers work perfect. The horn works perfect. This car runs, shifts and drives very well. The front and rear bumpers are in original condition with some slight pitting, but they show very well. This car was purchased new in Rhode Island and we bought it in Rhode Island about 10 years ago. This car has always been in a garage. This is a hard to find car because of it's condition and its all original. Also, I just recently added a very nice Cadilac licence plate on the front of the car.
