Interior; far better than average leather without the usual wear-thru on driver's seat side bolster, with cool age lines just like an English club chair! Rugs and headliner in very nice condition look great with the 'SE' style full woodgrained interior!
Exterior; again far better than average, with few dings and no dents of note. Black paint has very good clear-coat proving car garaged for sure!
Maintenance; As this is a new-car trade, books as pictured in glove box, and key fobs only if came in car, no service records come in the glovebox due to store's 'privacy policy'. Take the ViN to your local Volvo store's Serv. Mgr. to run on his national service data base for any service or recall component history. Winter package includes the headlamp wiper feature that rarely works on this model. No observable repairs were noted from the test-drive other than a sticky thermostat(should be changed if not shipping), and needs a windshield(cracks). For inspection, check eng.(usually an O2 sensor available on ebay for $89) and 'bulb needed'lights are on dash. As due for new set of tires, ship rather than drive. Undercar inspection including oil change, filter and fluid top-off-available at a local specialist shop for $89. Any maintenance/repairs available thru local tech before delivery at wholesale pricing; buyer agrees to hire his own afterwards without exception. Exceptional body and interior, no rust problems(ignore the $10 plate bracket on front-bumper)-may have usual bumper scrapes and light clearcoat scratches attendant with a family vehicle of the era- but this one is outstanding. For inspection; horn blows, windshield is clear, e-brake just holds at a 10 degree pitch. Air-conditioning(not too cool), CDs, bulbs and smaller items unchecked on all cars.
