Vehicle Detail
1957 Chevrolet BelAir 4dr. Car has the factory 283 v8 that starts and runs like a kitten every time. Engine has a polished weiand intake with an Edelbrock 650 carb. I do have the factory intake and carb. The car does need a restoration, but everything is there. The body for the most part is solid except for the rockers, and lower front fender section. Anybody that knows 57's knows these are the most common areas of rust. The car is painted black right now but it needs a paint job. Factory color was canyon coral with indian ivory top. The interior is black and silver. Car has good tires and comes with chrome cragar SS wheels. Car also has a bran new reproduction radio installed. Bill of sale On Jul-01-11 at 14:27:38 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention this car has the factory in dash AC, but is missing the condenser. Car also has a new gas tank installed. On Jul-01-11 at 18:39:14 PDT, seller added the following information: If anybody has ANY questions, please dont hesitate to ask. Thanks On Jul-04-11 at 06:50:48 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer some of the questions. The interior does need some work. Currently the car does not have a headliner. The original rear sear is in good shape, but the front in starting to separate in some areas. It has a seat cover over the part of the front seat. Temporary carpet is installed. All the glass is good except a crack in the front windshield from a rock chip. Wing crank windows work perfectly, and so does all other door hardware except for passesnger inside door handle ( the crank is not making good connection to the mechanism, need to take the door panel off and see whats going on). As far as the electrical system goes everything works except for a couple bugs. The heater controls work and blows hot air in the winter time. One of the highbeams is out and the horn does not work. Needs new speedo cable, and adapter for temp gauge on the intake. Like stated above this car does need a restoration, but is very complete with many good pieces. Stainless trim is in good shape and straight. With a new paint job and some interior work this car would be a beauty! Im not excited about selling this car, but somethings have come up , and Im listed this and my m38a1 aswell.
