Vehicle Detail

A survivor and true Michigan deer hunter. Starts good. Runs good. Drives good. Stops good. The E-brake light is on, had Fremont brake look at it to make sure not something else. They repaired a rear caliper and said the rest was fine. Front wheel drive. V-8 engine. Not driven much last two years. Has a noise near trunk when key is on, but engine not running. I think the fuel pump is running, someone else thought it was the anetnna motor or suspension pump. Suspension doesn't sag and it sound different than antenna. I think the fuel pump is running, because the regulator needs to be fixed. There is no noise when car is running and it seems to run just fine with no fuel starvation or anything. Nice tires. Heater, but no air conditioner (recharge?). Interior rough in places. Headliner needs to be glued. Musty smell from not driving it...my kids say it's old people smell. Ripped on drivers door. Killed one deer last year. More than some hunters. Headlight replaced and aimed. Blinker needs fixing. Radio works well when antenna goes up. I am probably forgetting lots of stuff. Come over check it out. I drove it around last week without any drama. Just a decent running old car. Will consider vintage Honda motorcycles or possibly an older road bike in full trade. On Jul-16-11 at 14:01:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Hey all. I had someone test drive the vehicle today. They offered me more than the current bid, but since bidding had already started I will let the auction play out as it should. They did tell me though they felt a vibration through the steering wheel when braking. He said he didn't feel it when going down the road so he thought it was a warped rotor or rust on the rotors. I am thinking it is rust cause it has been sitting so long, but wanted everyone to know. I am NOT a car mechanic. Far from it, but wanted everyone to know. I figure it wasn't anything serious as he still offered to buy the car.On Jul-17-11 at 07:41:29 PDT, seller added the following information: Sunday: I added some more pictures today of the engine compartment, underneath car, and close up of the interior dirvers door. Thanks for all the questions. I will check back again tonight and answer any other questions you may have for me.
