Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 1970 Dodge Charger. This car runs and drives, but will need some work to be nice. It was a "Prostreet" project that was never completed. It has a rebuilt 1969 383" V-8 with an auto trans. It has front disc brakes, posi rear end, etc. Engine sounds great. Can be street driven, or taken to the track for some fun. This car comes with a clear MI title too. BODY: The body is in decent condition. The paint still shines, but has chips and scratches. It has frame connectors installed, to make it a full frame car. -(These were "let-in" to the floor as well for added stregnth.) The front fenders are fiberglass. Doors are original, and in decent condition (not perfect, but nice). The rear 1/4 panels have had patches installed at one time. The trunk has been mini-tubbed to accept the big tires. All the glass is in good condition. Interior floor pans are in decent condition. DRIVE TRAIN: The engine runs great! It is a rebuilt 1969 383" V-8. It has a steel crankshaft, and larger than stock cam. Headers flow into dual exhaust that exits before the rear axle. The trans is a 727 automatic. Rear end is a 8-3/4 posi, with a 4:56 gear in a spool, and a 742 case. Coil over rear shocks. Drive shaft loop. Aluminum intake with a Holley double pumper carb, chrome valve covers and air cleaner. This car also has front disc brakes! The wheels are Weld Drag lites, with new Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires. INTERIOR: The interior has the stock gauges in the dash (unknown condition). The steering wheel in the picture has been replaced with an aftermarket wood wheel (not pictured). There is a stock console and floor shifter. A roll cage has been installed for added safety. OVERALL: This car has tons of potential! -It is a very cool car to drive while you restore, or leave as is and take to the track. ...or it could be made into a "Fast and Furious" clone too! (What ever you choose.) I recommend trailering it to your destination. (It could be an expensive drive home.) Shipping is the buyers responsibility. -( I have a truck and trailer, and possibly might be able to deliver it within the lower 48 states for $2.00 per loaded mile.)- This car is sold "AS-IS, WHERE-IS", and has no warranties expressed or implied. There is a $1000 deposit due immediately at the end of the auction (you may use paypal or wire transfer for this), with the remaining balance due within 3 days of the end of the auction (to be paid by cash in person or by wire transfer). No checks of any type will be accepted. The car and title will not be released until all funds have cleared. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time, due that the car is listed through other media. Bidders with less than 10+ feedback will be cancelled, unless they call me first. By bidding on my auction, you are hereby agreeing to these terms. Call me if you have any questions at: (734)-341-3186. Thanks, Jeff.On Jul-13-11 at 07:08:28 PDT, seller added the following information: The console and arm rests are included with the car, but are not pictured.
