Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is this 1951 suburban. The vehicle runs , drives, and stops.Originaly a school bus for the local district here in N.W. Ks.This is a stock unchanged vehicle. The only rust on this burb is the floorboards where the bend angles up toward the firewal and on the kickpanel where it meets the front fender. This is pretty minimal and should be visable in pics provided. The windshield is broken.I have purchased a new gasket but not yet purchased the flat glass for it.The rear curved glass is out of the passenger side rear door but I have a new one as well as the gasket. The two rear wheel cylinders are leaking a bit but I have also purchased them.(need installed). The 216 cubic inch engine runs but is getting old and tired. It smokes. The passenger front fender has been replaced at some point with a green one along with the grill.Must have been in a little fender bender at some point in it`s life. The paint is thin but original as you can see.To sum it all up the burb needs a total restoration.but will run and drive under it own power.has a new 8 volt battery and a new fuel pump.I`ll be happy to answer any ?`s you may have. There is no reserve. The title is clear. It is currently licensed and insured.Payment must be recieved within seven days of auctions end.You may have thirty days to pick up the vehicle. If you need more contact me.Call with any ?`s 1-785-675-1197 Thanks RonOn Jul-12-11 at 14:44:32 PDT, seller added the following information: Just wanted to add ,please be realistic. This is a 61 year old vehicle and does have bumps a bruises. The pic showing the green fender meeting the cowl is the worst body damage in my opinion.there is a crease in the cowl there.this and all other dents should be able to be hammered out.there is some good metal in these old trucks.I also forgot to take a pic of the front bumper filler panel. It has a section cut out of the middle.I can only think someone did this incase they had to put a chain around the bumper.Just wanted to be accurate. Most all of you guys and gals understand this but every now and then????.Thanks and again ask any ?`s you may have
