Vehicle Detail

1 of 1 1967 Mustang Fastback 390 S Code You are bidding on a very good start to a extremely valuable car. 7 - 67 R - San Jose 02 - Mustang Fastback S - 390-4V Lime gold paint, Ivy gold standard bucket seats, 3.00 standard axle, C-6 Select shift cruise o matic. One of One ENGINE Era correct 68 dated 390 big block professionally rebuilt. The block stayed standard bore, rod and crank where turned 0.10. All new pistons, rings, bearings etc where used. Mild Comp Cam, double roller chain, HV oil pump. Heads have hardened valve seats and all new valves, springs, locks and keepers. I have all reciept exceeding over $4000.00 and counting. Comes with EGR tubing, new water pump, MSD billet dist and coil. Correct 67 390 carb and air cleaner. The valve covers have been re-chromed (not shown). I have both non and adjustable rocker arms for the engine. Engine is ready to run. I have a C-6 trans and torque converter that "may" need rebuilt as i know nothing about it. Also comes with the alt and power steering that will need cleaned up still. BODY There has been hundreds of hours already spent getting it to this stage. It has had new floors, both quarter panels, inner fender wells, trunk floors. The only place it will need addition metal repair is on the left front rocker panel where there is a small rust hole about 5" long. I do however have a 12" rocker panel piece from a original car making this a very easy repair now. It still needs both seat risers (i do not have them either) i believe they cost around $90 bucks. And as you may have noticed, it has a 68 left front fender on it which will need replaced for a 67. There are no other known body issues as it is fairly close to final primer and paint. I do have a gallon of PPG primer and a half gallon of PPG black paint that come with the sale, however it still needs some body work and i didnt want to do what alot of people do here and hide work that still needs completed. It does come with the rear finned deluxe tail panel's as that was an option for this car. INTERIOR The interior is mostly there but obviously in need of repair / replace. It has the original seats, fold down rear, inst. panel, shifter assy, all the side panels, etc. The dash pad, carpet and headliner was tossed. I have a full Marti Report stating the options and concluding the one of one status. I bought the car to restore and enjoy but my life and plans have changed and would like to see the car go to someone who will finish it and appreciate it's uniqueness. I am sure you are well aware of the value of 1 of 1 big block cars, they are going higher than i ever imagined, yet with some time and effort this car will be worth somewhere in the $50-60K range. Well worth the investment at my asking price! As you can see by the original paint, it has no evidence of ever been in a accident or prior body repairs even. I do have (not original to this car of course) a set of original 69-70 Shelby wheels that go with the sale. Use them, sell them, i thought it would be different and planned on using them myself? I have tons of parts not pictured including SSBC front disk brakes, spindels, rotors, everything you need to put disk back on it. , so if you need a specific question answered please ask. Email or call with questions or offers as it is for sale locally.
