Yep, road tested. This 98 Suburban K2500 has sufficient mileage, but you Chevy people out there who know your stuff, know if cared for properly it should have a long ways to go yet. This 3/4 Ton Chevy is in exceptional condition and has documented service records and oil changes since day one, like clockwork. It has been maintained better than most anybody takes care of their vehicles and we specialize in higher mileage vehicles to some extent. This was a custom fleet Suburban and serviced southern Colorado. I'm honestly not sure what they used it for, but it has only freeway mileage. It does have front and rear air, interior is all vinyl, there are no 2nd or 3rd row seats, but the brackets are there. This one has tall gears for freeway mileage and the 350 motor where most 3/4s had the fuel hungry 454. It'll haul the troops or cargo, and despite never having towed, it's perfectly capable of towing heavy loads with a hitch installed. I put 100 miles on it and would be comfortable driving anywhere. Cargo truck, camping vehicle, boat-tower, extra family 4x4, or huntin' rig. Heck, it's worth more in parts alone than we're selling it for! Use your imagination, if it's what you need, the price is a steal. exterior The paint and body on this guy are in superb shape, looks like a well kept 100k mile truck. It has nice gloss, no rust, or body damage at all. It has very very faint hail on the hood which is barely noticeable. The wheels look good and tires have decent, but not new tread. They'll be fine for the rest of the summer, maybe put on some new skins come winter. The front bumper is set up for a winch install, but I don't think it's ever had one. Not much wear to complain about, there's a little pitting lower rockers behind the tires from freeway driving. I don't think this truck has seen many dirt roads. The jambs came in pretty clean and the undercarriage although a bit dusty isn't all muddy. It has a few small touched up scratches and 3 little nicks at the right rear 1/4, left rear fender trim has paint worn in one spot and right running board is bowed a bit. Everything is shown in the photos, exceptional condition all things considered. interior The interior is super clean. It smells nice, not like really anything at all, just Chevy, NO SMOKE. It's a unique package. It does have front and rear air, tilt, and cruise. Everything is vinyl for easy cleaning. Believe it or not, this is the original upholstery up front. Any mileage it has is freeway. The dash, doors, headliner, cargo space, etc, have a little normal wear as with anything used, but it's cleaner than most 100k mile vehicles. Tilt, cruise, radio, front and rear air, all functioning great. The air is ice cold. There are brackets for rear seats, but again, none are included in this price. We can remove the bulkhead if you like. mechanical I put 100 miles on this Chevy and was just tickled with it. I always get a kick out of high mileage vehicles that ride perfect and this one is just that. It's very tight up front, very quiet to drive, doesn't have the worn out door hinges like most of these up front, it's civilized, shifts great, 4x4 works perfect, and it's almost bone dry underneath. It has documented oil changes and service every 3-5k miles. They really took good care of it. I would personally be comfortable hopping in and driving to the east or west coast.
