1960 Jeep Willys for sale. Was an Army jeep that was rejuvenated for street use. I have a set of printed pics that showcase the body off restoration process. Excellent Condition and strong mechanically, including just completed full tune up, new brakes, lines, etc, hoses, belts, etc.. Fiberglass tub (This is the high quality fiberglass that has the wood composite for greater strength and structure). Hood, Windshield, front grill original metal pieces. Front fenders and tub are fiberglass. Original hard top and doors, door handles and locks work perfectly, glass has no cracks, superb condition with NO ROT or metal tears. New low back seats, both front and rear. Rear seat folds upward. New tires and restored rims painted black, including the spare rim, which also has a new tire. Rear spare tire mount with tow hitch. WARN front lockers. Original drive train including 4 cylinder engine and 3 speed transmission, including high low and 4 wheel/2 wheel drive levers. Shifts smoothly through all gears and does not pop out of second like many of the early Jeeps do. Original dash is still intact which is directly behind the new metal dash that was installed. The paint is decent, front fenders have some checking, rest of body and panels are an 8 out of 10. There are a few chips in the paint and on rails where doors close. The floors are rhino lined. The rear suspension maintains its Army specs, very stiff (I believe 10 leafs in the springs). I have the original heater, glove box door, and misc. parts that come with jeep. I also have the original military front seats that will go with this jeep as well. The frames and springs are in solid shape. This Jeep is a strong runner and well kept. The restoration was not done to perfection; but is a great driver that is mechanically sound. I highly recommend inspections to ensure that you are completely satisfied.
