Vehicle Detail

Due to NON-PAYMENT I am relisting my Dart again. I am not playing any games. I am listing it for what I want to get out of it with NO RESERVE and am hoping that someone out there wants it. This car is in very good condition for being 46 years old and all original. I am going to try to pre-answer any questions that many have asked about it with my previous listings. Yes it does have rust through as seen in the pictures. The driver's rear lower quarter has it and so does the passenger side front fender. The floors and trunkpan are solid with no rust through. The car was wrecked back in the seventies according to the previous owner. The left front fender, a corner of the hood and the right rear quarter were damaged at that time. It looks like the repair was done professionally, however the paint did not hold up. The original paint is still shiny in most places, but with someparts that are faded down to the primer. This car has awesome patina, for those who would want to possibly rat rod it or just drive it as is. I think it would be a very easy restoration as there is minimal rust and all of the hard to find parts are intact. This car originally came from Syracuse, NY. I bought it from a guy in Kansas City who had purchased it off of ebay from a family member of the original owner. This car was in storage for many years in NY, it did get about 5 mice holes in the headliner at that time. The car does NOT have the typical old car mildew or mouse pee smell to it. I have the original owners manual, purchase order, and lots of receipts on this vehicle. The interior is in really good condition. It is missing the plastic vents in the dash for the defrost. They were cracked really bad from the sun and were removed by the previous owner. I have seen some for sale on ebay, but none were the right color. The rear seat belts are black and do not match the front light turquoise ones. The top of the rear seat was "sunburnt" which turned it brown instead of turquoise and has cracked in a few places. This car came with the RADIO DELETE, NO power brakes, NO power steering and NO A/C. With the exception of the front windsheild, all of the glass is in perfect shape. All of the windows roll up and down effortlessly and the glass is so clear you can barely tell if the windows are up or not. The front windsheild has some fogging around the edges, but does not impair vision. It has no cracks in it either. The car runs and drives just like a new one did back in the 60's. It gets very good gas mileage, which is awesome to have these days. I have taken it to several local car shows and got a first in class trophey with it last year. It was the all original unrestored class. The trunk mat has cracked over the years and previous owner duct-taped it together. All 4 of the hubcaps are original and in excellent shape. I lost the original gas cap and couldn't find one anywhere so I bought one off of ebay that is a custom billet hand made cap. It looks similar to the original, but is shiny billet instead of the original teal to match the car. This car does have the original 225 slant six, one barrel engine which runs great. It has the automatic with the column shift. I drove this car from Kansas City to here with no problems. That was a six hour drive. I don't know if I would recommend anyone driving it that far or further just for the simple fact that it is so old and original. Not saying that it wouldn't make it that far, but you just never know. This car does a whole lot of sitting around. I've tried to list everything that is wrong with it cosmetically, if I think of anything more I will add it on later. This car is sold as-is with no warranty. I will not deliver it across country to you. If you need me to drive it locally to ship it or drive it up on a transport I could do that. E-mail me with any questions that you may have, thanks for looking and happy bidding!!!
