Built on 02, 1974 By British Leyland UK LTD, in England. This is the first batch of the new 1974 MG-B for US market to confirm with safety regulations, it has the so called rubber bumpers. Production for the enhanced MG-B started in 02, 1974. It also has the electrical overdrive option with the togle switch on the gear shifter (WOW). The engine is 1.8 liter, with a powerfull Weber sidedraft carburator. The paint is all factory original. No rust, only minor surface oxidation. Floors are untouched, all original and solid. Interior is all original but for the add on radio and speakers. Interior need upholstery work. Replacement seat covers and door panels are available online from various suppliers.

Wheels are original; there is no spare tire!

Engine is in perfect conditions, starts at first crank, idles smooth and has plenty of power capable of tremendous acceleration.

Perfect clutch and precise shifter, with no issues.

Brakes are good. Ride is straight, no issues with the suspension or alingment.

California clean title number 11571450 issued 06/10/1988 in Hawthorne, CA 90250. This vehicle has at least two owners, with last transfer in 1988. Miles as indicated on the odometer may not be accurate, due to mechanical limitations (five digit counter; may exceed odometer mechanical limits and most sureley did). Vehicle license plate as indicated on the title is 2Gss762. No plates at this time. This vehicle first sold in 1975.
