Vehicle Detail
No reserve auction!!! You are bidding on a 1968 Coronet Model 440 2- door hardtop car for restoration or used as a donor car for your Super Bee or Coronet RT or other restoration project. This car originally had a 318 V-8 with a 3 speed auto on the column. This car was driven by me in high school in the 1980's until the motor couldn't take my youthful playing. There is no motor or trans in it now and it is just a rolling chassis. It has bucket seats from a 1970 RT Charger and the driveshaft is in the trunk. The door panels are still in good shape. All the glass is good. The rear was changed to a 3.55 suregrip posi and is the heavy duty 489 carrier. The car is rusty and has some dents. (See Pics!) I crawled under the car and took several pics of the unibody frame. It all seems solid except for the driver side behind the back wheel going towards the trunk area, (last picture). Year One sells a patch frame for this so it is fixable. The frame area where the leaf springs attach look ok. I have more pics of frame areas, but couldn't load all of them. The floor pans are gone from sitting for 25 yrs, but those can be replaced as well. I have a title for this car, so it is up to you to use as parts or if you want to replace some sheet metal it would be a cool car to make into a street machine. Bring a good winch to get it on your trailer! I have the title. I took alot of pictures and may not be able to load all of them, so if you want to see more pics send me your email address and I will send them to you. It cannot be pulled down the road, and must be trailered. It rolls. Don't wait to bid and bid the max of what you would pay for the car. Bid with confidence there is alot of good parts on this if you want to use it as a donor. Good luck bidding and be sure to ask questions if necessary. If you are the winning bidder, you must contact me within 24 hours, so we can make arrangements for you to pick this up with-in 15 days with a trailer and a good winch to get it on. I will not ship vehicle, but will help with loading. I will not be responsible for any damage caused in loading vehicle. This is a local pick-up only auction. Please ask any questions before bidding. IF YOU ARE THE WINNING BIDDER YOU OWN THE CAR! IT IS NOT A DOWN PAYMENT TO SEE IF YOU WANT IT. Good luck bidding. DON'T LET THIS ONE GET AWAY! Smaller items must be paid in full with Pay Pal within 2 days. Larger items that are marked as Local Pickup Only and sell for more than $1000 will be a Non-refundable $350 Pay Pal Payment within 2 days and remainder must be paid in cash at time of pickup within 15 days unless prior arrangements have been made with me. Good Luck Bidding!!
