I have been forced to relist this item, due to ebay cancelling my auction. They cancelled my auction due to the number of people requesting that I sell our stuff outside of EBAY. All of you that have asked already know that I have refused to do so. Do not ask. I apologize to the people that had already bid on the auction, but this was out of my control. I am relisting the car at the last high bid of my knowledge. Hopefully you will understand and you are still interested in the car. You are bidding on a classic 1969 Ford Fairlane Cobra Jet 4-sp car for restoration or used as a donor car for your Fairlane or Mustang Cobra Jet project. This car was part of my late father's collection that will be soon liquidated. The car has been sitting in his driveway for over 20 years and has not moved. My father kept the license up to date and we have the title. I really hate to see this one go, but mother says everything goes. I took alot of pictures and may not be able to load all of them, so if you want to see more pics send me your email address and I will send them to you. It cannot be pulled down the road. This car was purchased by my father years ago from a guy he worked with. The guy purchased it new and had the dealership install dual four barrel carbs on it, but due to the fuel consumption he had them removed. He put around 90,000 miles on the car and wrecked it. He sold it to my father and he drove it to our place where it has been sitting since. The car hasn't moved for years so even though I know the drivetrain was in working order when parked, obviously it will need disassembled to restore. The car is complete except for the ram-air aircleaner that was stolen by a couple guys that were unsuccessful in purchasing the entire car years ago from my father. I know who they are, so if they attempt to purchase the car now, it won't go well for them. The car motor is original including the hard to find factory exhaust manifolds and balancer. The interior is there with very good restorable bucket seats and 4-sp shifter and console. The console is good, but has a couple of the usual cracks that were common. The dash pad is excellant and the dash has the factory tachometer that they only installed on the high performance cars. The 4-sp is the ford top loader and the rear end I was told by my late father was a 3.50 Detroit locker posi. I'm not a ford guy, so if this is incorrect I won't be offended if you correct me. I have had alot of interest in this car and have a standing offer, so I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime if it looks like its not bringing what the offer is. Don't wait to bid and bid the max of what you would pay for the car. Bid with confidence there is alot of good parts on this if you want to use it as a donor. I also have an extra fender that is in good shape that I will throw in for the winner. The grille is there, but it will need to be straightened. He said the locker rear had another lever on it for the rear. I took a picture of it but can't add it to the auction. If you want one you will have to request it and I can email it to you. The engine has this on it just above the oil filter. 8 L 31 Engine date code and I was told the car was built in January. I believe this code means the engine was built Oct. 31 1968. I'm no ford expert so do your own research, but this is what I have been told.
