Vehicle Detail
For sale here is a 1983 Plymouth Scamp GT "mini" truck. It's been customized by totally resoing the powertrain. The truck has a custom frame under it to support the engine which is a "built"modified 360 Chrysler V-8 with a matching 4 sp. tranns., with dual exhaust and a posi rear end. The list goes on and on, too long to list here. These trucks were built for only 1 year by Plymouth which makes these truck rare, unlike its cousin the Dodge Rampage which was built for several years in the eighties. And this truck is even more rarer due to its customization and options. This truck still has its orig. paint; black with the factory orange and red racing strips and the interior is black and red leather and cloth which is in GREAT condition. She also has her orig. factory sunroof that does not leak and opens good with no problems. She also has a great sound system that rattles the windows. We have a binder with all the receipts and paper work for the truck that documents everything thats been done to it. This is one lil' speed demon that won't disappoint. If it does then you don't have a pulse, :). Anyway, she is super fast and has won a few trophies since I've had her. And you "probably" won't see another like her with these kinds of options . She does need alittle minor body work done on the rear quarter panels, typical for these little trucks. The previous owner did install replacemnt panels, but they (in my opinion)could be cleaned up alittle better. But like I've said, I've had her to shows and she showed VERY well with no problems from the judges. Other than that, no problems. And she always gets stares and comments from everyone who sees her. For more info. just let me know and I'll answer the best I can. *Rememeber, You Bid to Buy, so ask questions now before the end of the auction* Happy Bidding and Good Luck!On Jul-06-11 at 19:34:03 PDT, seller added the following information: REDUCED! The reserve has been drastically reduced. Lost storage space and she now needs to go. She's now reduced to less than what it cost to build her orig.. So my loss is some lucky ebayers gain, so bid now before this deal slips away. Just give her a good home guys. Happy Bidding and Good Luck everybody!!On Jul-08-11 at 08:12:09 PDT, seller added the following information: **I have been asked by some ebayers about my reserve. I've been told that Ebay has alot of rules and one of them is to not reveal or tell anyone what your reserve is, or something along them lines. Anyway here's a clue, all I will say here is that it cost about $6K to build her orig. and the reserve is now set for $3K "less" than what it cost to build her. Also, I have a few extra things/parts that go with her in the sale. **-Good Luck - & - Happy Bidding Everybody!!
