I am listing this car for a very good personal friend of mine but I will handle this auction just as any other of mine with the upmost care to detail I have bought and sold many cars on eBay so I understand the concerns of the buyer and seller. please review my feedback so you can bid with confidence. This wonderful car is a prime example of a very rare find a truly unmolested Arizona 1955 Chevrolet. That is fully documented with the original title from 1955 and original dealership papers and most if not all receipts in 1955 Quebedeaux Chevrolet opened its new showroom in phoenix off of grand avenue the building still stands today and is considered a historical landmark. During this same time Mrs. Frances Allard received an inherited sum of money and decided to buy herself her own car so she would not have to rely on her husband this was a very rare thing to happen in 1955 Mrs. Allard even went as far as to title the car in her name solely this was also so rare to happen in 1955 almost considered taboo. from march 10 1955 to November 15 1982 Mrs. Allard drove the car off and on and by 1982 Mrs. Allard was getting up there in age and then proceeded to give the car to a very good friend of hers who I will not release the name of one eBay only to the buyer because she is still the current owner of the car and a very good friend of mine. She has taken care of the car and drove it as her primary car from Nov 1982 to October 1988 at this time she purchased a new buick and the 55 was then driven off and on. It currently still runs and drives well but has not gone any major distances because it has not been registered in many years. Mrs. Allard and her husband past away in the late 1980’s a copy of the obituary’s will be provided. The current owner is unhappy to let the car go but she could use the money I have the car and all the paperwork in hand and will help with the sale any way I can. Now on to the car again it was purchased in Arizona and this may be the most rust free 55 out there as it has only left Arizona one time and that was for only five days on vacation. I am told that the car has not been repainted except for the front left fender there is also a few primer spots that the current owners husband sprayed with a can in preparation to repair dings and such. Overall this is a fantastic body very virgin. The motor is the original 235 straight 6 it does run well the trans is the original automatic it shifts well but the shifter feels sloppy because rubber bushings are dried the interior is original and as you can see from the pics needs help all the glass goes up and down overall this is a very good original car that has not been restored. Please review all pics any serious buyers should look at the car in person or have a third party inspection service do this on your behalf the car is from 1955 and I have done my best to give an accurate description but it is the buyers responsibility to make sure they are happy with the car before placing a bid but if you look at my feedback you will see every buyer I have had has been happy with their purchase because eBay is not a game a 500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end and please have all funds ready to purchase the vehicle and all your affairs in order thankyou please feel free to ask any and all questions
