HELP! HELP! Save me from the crusher. NO RESERVE!!! OK- This is a don't- wanna- but-gotta sale. I just bought a motorhome and also got a very expensive traffic ticket,so the old girl has got to go by Monday. If not sold on this eBay listing, I must salvage the unique- to-Sterling parts, and scrap the rest. It is really far to nice of a car to suffer a fate like that. The body is solid with little or no rust -through. There are some places which had rust under the paint and were touched up, but the trunk, floor, and underside are very good. Interior is very fine with no holes or tears. Dash and woodgrain are super. It has the original Sterling (Bose, maybe?) sound which is rare, and I have the code. It also has the rare Speedline wheels which were an OEM option from Sterling. I have owned it since '99. It is a Texas car with only 2 or 3 northern winters on it's record. It has been in storage,(inside, dry- until last winter when it was out) since '02 when the L front axle bearing lost it's marbles. I have an axle assembly, but a move to a condo with no workspace, and a new, only grandchild, has precluded installation. The engine runs fine, I have always started it every month or so, including all last year, and when I parked it in November. I tried to start it last week, it lit right up on a shot of ether, but it does not have fuel to the injectors. Electrical, I'm sure, but I have too much on my plate to investigate. Feel free to ask questions, I try to check my e-mail 2 or 3 times a day. You cannot drive it away as it sets. If you do not want to pay to have it towed, and you hire your work done, there is a reasonable and competent shop right across the street, I can provide contact info if you ask. The pictures are a couple years old, but it looks the same except for last winter's grime. I have more, and can take & e-mail some current picsif you are seriously interested. And your risk is small, the scrap value is more than half of the minimum bid! I am serious about it needing to be gone, it is not just a sales pitch. The motorhome is coming after the 4th, so I need space and $$$. No Reserve, so if someone bids at all, it is outta here! Good luck!
