For sale is a 1973 Ford Bronco that i have owned outright for almost 10 years. I bought it while in school and used it as my weekend car. This truck absolutely turns heads and drives like a dream. It's been a wonderful part of the family for the past 10 years but unfortunately as times have been tough, its time to say goodbye. I paid 9.5k for the car in 2001, that was when the car was cherry. Now, for so many reasons I have been unable to keep up with the daily (at least weekly) TLC this car deserves. The mileage on the rebuilt engine (V8 5L, 302cid) was 12,079 as of 1/4/2003 -- today the vehicle has 13,865 - as you can see that it hasnt been driven but an average of 250 miles per year....it's been a weekend car during the summer months, its rarely on the highway and it rarely travels beyond the north county coastal area of san diego. Unfortunately with such little driving the vehicle has sat - as a result of that sitting there have been some mechanical issues - there is a very light oil leak and a very light gas leak as well. i've had many maintenance repairs over the years and have kept all records. Those repairs include normal maintenance and specific work to the fuel pump, hose gear clamp, fuel sending unit, sublet gas tank repair, as well as ongoing maintenance, belts, hoses, etc. Also, i added two lockboxes (one between driver/passenger seat) and one between backseat and tailgate. The cd player was installed in 2009 but due to weathering, etc. it is a tricky proposition whether or not it will work - some days it does and some days it does not.
