Up for sale/auction is 1 Black, Mitsubishi Eclipse, (RS). 2.0L DOHC, It currently starts, and will run, but is NOT drivable. The timing is off, and i am not going to put any more work into it, as i am not a mechanic. I had to replace the water pump last year, and it took me 2 days to pull the engine out to get to it. after putting it back together, (with assistance) it ran/runs rough, and well... just doesn't go. a hundred people told me it was a hundred different things wrong, so i replaced them. (see list of new parts below) Now, after not being able to drive it for a year, I had it checked by a mechanic, and he said "the timing is off". well, that's it. I'm done with it. I have since financed a new car, and am ready to give up my toy. so... now you can have it, and deal with the timing belt issue. There are a few minor issues with the car: (as expected with a car from the mid 90's) There is a rip in the side of the driver's seat. the interior ceiling liner has been removed, (was hanging in places.) there is a crack in the windshield. (passenger side, passed inspection) Air conditioner/heater switch needs replaced. And, the passenger door (outer) handle is broke/missing. (must open from inside). When running properly, it clears 165 MPH. ( though i don't know how much farther, that's as much as i would push it). there is as you can see in the pics, a Spectre enhanced induction breather. full open exhaust, not cat-back. (not legal in some states, however all removed parts come with vehicle, in-case you wish to have them on.) Air conditioner radiator is removed, but included. all except driver's seat were removed to reduce weight, but are included. (will re-install if buyer prefers) Stock wheels/tires are included, but if auction nears asking price, ($1000) will include the 16" SS/Cobra racing tires i used on it. (slightly used.) Car has new fuel and water pump, filters, plugs-(bosch platinum), and plug wires, coil pack, alternator, TPS sensor, O2 sensor, and probably more that i cannot think of @ the moment. some of these did not need replaced, so the originals are included as well. Body is in great condition; there are no dents. has never been wrecked, (to my knowledge) as it drifts very well. there are a couple of rust spots on the hood, that i tried painting over, but the paint cover-up only lasted 6 mo. or so. (go figure) - mileage is at 200k, with about 60k of it since the new/overhauled engine. Since engine problem exists, car is being sold AS IS. I won't risk my perfect feedback because someone doesn't want to read full description, or ask questions. Vehicle is listed elsewhere, seller assumes right to end auction early.
