NO RESERVE!!! Up for auction is a nice 1989 CHRYSLER LEBARON CONVERTIBLE with the 4 cylinder TURBO engine and automatic transmission. YES IT IS A FACTORY TURBO CAR!! AND ... the car only has 76,918 ORIGINAL miles on it. I run a rollback tow truck in the evenings and I recently picked this car up and have decided that it is just too nice to sit in the storage lot. I have the CLEAR VA title in hand showing 62,000 miles in the year 2000. When i got the car a few weeks ago, it had sat since the year 2007 so I put a fresh battery in it and made sure that it does run and move like it is supposed to. The brakes work and all lights as well. The convertible top is in pretty darn good shape too. This car has sat for over 4 years and will need a few things to get it roadworthy. The radiator DOES leak and the tires are dryrotted. The is a minimal spot of rust on the bottoms of the doors but its not really seen in the pictures. The fuel access door wont stay closed and the drivers side door hinges are loose. There are other things to attend to as well such as wiper blades and i would replace the belts and hoses to be sure of a reliable ride. Still, for being an 89 model its in darn good shape overall and the paint has not peeled. I am selling this car in as is condition and with NO RESERVE!!! For anyone interested I will be attending the Chryslers at CARLISLE PA show on Friday July the 8th and I can deliver the car there for a small fee of $75 extra if needed. I want to make sure that I am getting through and being clear on the condition of the car. YOU ARE NOT going do drive it home. It WILL need a radiator, battery, tires, and a good tune up (plugs, wires, filters, etc) to be able to be driven. It DOES run now and i have driven it around the lot and down the street a few blocks but the radiator leaks and the tires are dryrotted some and I dont think that they are going to pass inspection. I could be wrong on the tires but I wouldnt trust them for safety. It will also need a thorough cleaning on the inside and out.
