They are considered a direct replacement for the original Boge units. The Euro headlight switch was available from BMW as an upgrade part for US models in the late 1970s. The bike has a standard BMW Powerlet port for battery tending and heated clothing etc. The sidestand and centerstand are stock for this model and vintage. The handgrips are not heated and are the pattern used by BMW on the post-1985 airheads. The raised ribs on those grips give a slightly fuller feel and absorb more vibration than the original pattern Magura grips. The battery is a BMW OEM battery replaced less than 2 yrs ago, always on a tender. Ther San Jose fork brace is of 1980s vintage when they were of more robust construction. The seat height unladen is stock at 32", average weight rider would sag it to about 30" when saddled up. Bike is hence very friendly for the inseam-challenged.
