Hello..... Up for Auction here is my Fathers 1980 Corvette which I'm listing for him since (due to some health issues) he won't be finishing it out the rest of the way like was the original plan..... It is a "SINGLE OWNER" car that he personally ordered from Huckabay Chevrolet in Dade City Florida, where I went with him to pick it up when I was 7 years old (yup, VERY exciting day it was, lol)....... The first several years of this cars life was daily driving duty, and then it became a second car for him (mostly just a weekend car for cruises on nice days)...... Around 1999 he took the car off the road and garaged it, and immediately started ordering & gathering all the parts that he wanted to install, with the intentions of returning it to "like new" Condition, but better in a lot of ways (such as the engines power, the suspension, & the brakes)..... ENGINE: Fully Re-Built by Performance Specialties...it has aprox 15,000 miles on it since the complete engine Re-Build was performed, and Aproximately 85,000 Total on the car Itself (the new gauges show ALL Zero's since thats the way they come new)............ Here's "some" of the stuff that was performed and added during the Re-Build>>>> Block Machining = Deck was Squared, Mains were Line Bored, Cylinders Bored 30 over & Honed W / Torque-Plates... TRW Forged Flat-Top Pistons & File Fit Rings(30 thou over)... Pioneer Rod, Cam , & Main Bearings (and freeze plugs)... Timing Chain... Harmoinic-Balancer... Melling High Volume Oil-Pump... Factory Cylinder-Heads were Completely Re-Built & a 3-Angle Competition Valve-Job(Performed on Serdi)... Crane Camshaft & Matched Valve-Springs (PS: The Cam is just a "little step up from the stock cam"... added some power really everywhere in the RPM range(even down low), And, it being a mild cam,(ground on a wide112 LSA) the gas mileage diddn't really change any appreciable amount that's worth mentioning, and it has a very nice idle to it... Holley 650 Double Pumper Carb... Chrome Alternator... Edelbrock Chrome "360 Degree Open Style" Airfilter with a K&N Air Filter in it... Moroso Blue-Max Spark-Plug Wires..... TRANSMISSION: The Factory Corvette Turbo 350 was fully Re-built(and shifts great)...... I'm sure I'm missing a few things(at least,lol)... But anyway... the engine runs GREAT, Trans shifts GREAT............ON TO THE CAR ITSELF AND WHAT'S BEEN DONE:..... The Car Has had the Good "Flex-Less" Fiberglass FRONT & REAR Bumpers installed on it ("Fitting Perfectly").... COMPLETE Polyurethane Bushings Throughout the Entire Suspension Have been Installed.... New Rear Composite Leaf-Spring Installed (factory one was metal).... New Brake Rotors Installed.... New Calipers Installed.... New Pads Installed.... New Braided Stainless Steel Brake Lines Installed.... Stainless Steel Parking Brake Parts & Shoes Installed(works fine).... New Power Antenna.... New Heater Core Installed.... Completely New Dashboard.... New Dash Lens.... ALL Plastic parts Reconditioned.... New Doorpanels.... New Door Armrests.... New Seats.... New Rear Compartment Covers.... NEW Factory GM Corvette Emblems "Everywhere on Vehicle".... New Carpeting(Front & Rear).... New Front Floor-Mats.... New Weatherstripping Installed Throughout Car.... New Front Dash Speakers...... NEW Leather Factory Replacement Steering Wheel.... Once again, I'm sure im leaving some items out, but basically.... As you can see from the pictures, ALL of the interior pieces are just sitting wrapped up still 100% BRAND NEW inside a air-conditioned spare bedroom in his house (he never got around to putting any of it in the car, and as of lately, he's had some serious health problems come up)........ We would just like to see it go to a good home, where someone has the time to put the finishing touches on it, which would be installing all of the included interior items, and maybe (if the person wanted to make it perfect) scuff it up, and do a nice new base/clear paint-job on it (it need's ZERO bodywork of any kind)..........
