1979 VW Beetle Convertible built November 1979. This is the "Limited Edition Triple White Model" which celebrated the final year of German Beetle production. This is one of the last of the original Beetle Convertibles. It has only had 2 owners since new, with an original 72k miles. This has Always been a California Car! Note the CA Blue and Yellow License Plates issued when it was new. It was sold new in February 1980 by the Porsche Audi Dealer in Palm Springs CA. We have the Service Manual and Owners Manual , and lots of service receipts . It has spent the last 18 years her in the San Francisco Bay Area . This is an original unmolested Beetle, paint appears to be mostly original. No sign of any prior accidents , there are a few very minor chips/touch up here and there , and a couple of very small dings. I feel it is best kept that way, after all , theyr'e only original once. The Floorpans are excellent and original, no signs of welding etc . Interior is excellent , and again , looks original, drivers seat shows some wear but no rips or loose seams, dash is perfect, no cracks , headliner also good, and the top was replaced faily recently so is excellent. All windows wind up and down smoothly and correctly , vent windows work properly and the top mechanism is in good working condition. Starts up easily , warm or cold , shifts very smoothly , good brakes, steering etc .This is a great opportunity to aquire a Classic Bug Convertible ready to use and enjoy.
