I am selling a 1983 HONDA MAGNA V45. This bike only has 9,532 miles on it...all original. It was my fathers and he parked it in his garage around 8 years ago, covered it up and never rode it again. I brought it home a couple of weeks ago and did the standard (new plugs, new oil, new battery, drained any old gas and cleaned the fuel lines and tank) after filling it up with new gas and some seafoam it fired right up! It is running a little rough so I am guessing the carbs need to be cleaned good, but I am not a mechanic so I will not be taking that job on. The brakes seem to work fine, and all of the electrical components seem to be in order. The clutch does not act like it is engaging so I don't know if the fluid just needs to be bled or what, I am sure it is something simple for someone who knows about it. I can put it up on the service stand and run it through the gears though. Overall this bike is in good shape. As you can see in the pictures it does have one small dent in the tank, and it has a rip in the backrest. This would be a great bike for anyone who knows a little about working on them. I have heard that these things are pretty fast, so I was hoping to ride it once while it was tuned up, but it is just a little bit out of my league. I have described this bike to the best of my knowledge. I encourage any one with specific questions to please ask, and I will do my best to answer them. This bike will be sold as is. This auction will have NO RESERVE so the winning bid takes it! This is pick-up item only unless buyer makes all of the shipping arrangements.
