This rabbit is my baby.. I LOVE it. I got it stock and original from and old guy in PA. The car was a barn find. it had been sitting for 10 years when the PO found it. I bough it and shipped it down to beautiful sFL. Everything done to this car has been done by myself. (except headwork) I trust this car with my life and drive it every day. THE GOODS. EXTERIOR -OG Lago blue paint with surface rust here and there (patina) NO Cancer anywhere. Paint in great condition. couple of dents and scratches but nothing crazy. IT is a 30 year old car. -All original glass with no flaws anywhere. -Chrome rain channel guards -Pushed in bumpers with chrome vinyl. -NEW small duckbill INTERIOR -Floors are 100% solid. I checked, treated, and coated floors to prevent future rust. -Red leather cabriolet seats (great condition, No rips, scratches,etc.) -Black carpet, dash, door panels. -Cabriolet door speaker compartments. -Dash carpet cover. Really nice. -NO HEADLINER but hundreds of cool, rare stickers cover every inch of the roof. -Battery relocated to trunk. Done very nice and clean. ICE -JVC Radio in globe compartment with aux cable. -Blaupunkt rear speakers, JVC speakers up front all under stock grills. -Old school radioshack antenna signal amplifier. Works great. Engine/Performance/Fuel -1.7 greatness w/ 4 speed manual. -Every gasket replaced. -Relocated and extended Harness wiring w/ almost every wire replaced. -NEW oem engine mounts, Poly front mount. -NEW shift linkage bushings and rods. -Dellorto single downdraft Carburetor. Jetted correctly. w/ 6in stacks and I will include stock filter. -Redline puel pump, Holley FPR, Holley Fuel pressure gauge. -Rebuild head. light port, Gasket matched, decked .60th of an in, 3 valve angle job, NEW seals throughout. -Autotech HD springs. -G grind Cam with New cam seal. -Raceland Headers. -TT 2in exhaust with Borla muffler -NEW oem water pump, REM Alternator. -NEW radiator hoses, Flushed coolant. -NEW timing belt,NEW acc. belt, new style tensioner. -NEW Bosch cap, rotor, cables, plugs. -NEW Gas tank. -NEW NLS head coolant cap w/ New temp sensor. -NEW oil sensor -NEW driveshafts. -NEW clutch cable Suspension/brakes -Raceland coilovers. -NEW oem control arms with oem bushings. -NEW balljoints, Tie rods w/ ends. -Rear beam blasted and painted. NEW poly bushings. -NEW Master cylinder -NEW pads, rotors, drums, shoes, hardware, and rear bearings. Wheels -Stock steel wheels with almost new 175/50 13 sumitomos There is nothing that I havent touched, fixed, replaced, checked on this car. THE not so Bads. -The engine bay is custom. It is far from being cosmetically perfect and Everything is replaceable as I still have the sections i cut from inner wheel wells. (BUT It is welded and reinforced and I have been driving the crap out of it and no flexing anywhere and it looks good IMO ) -Notched frame rail. (welded)-The miles are not actual because the odo stopped working but its been 5 months since rebuild. THE BADS -The car has a small oil leak(a couple drops when I park after driving) coming from the intermediate shaft. I will include a NEW seals and ring. It is only a tiny bit after driving. You wont be putting extra oil every day. Regular oil changes will do but I will include everything for the fix. This car is practically Brand new. It drives, brakes, rides like a new quicker rabbit. -I will include a New dellorto rebuild kit for future replacement- ONLY THING NOT included is the Nardi steering wheel and hub. It will have a black early style rabbit wheel in great condition. One month ago I drove it to Helen, GA a 13 hour drive with no problems and I daily drive it everywhere, no problems going anywhere. Moves great, shifts smooth, and it is very reliable.
