1972 Plymouth Duster EXTREMELY RARE 340 H CODE NON-MATCHING NUMBERS, 360 ENGINE Yes, you have found the rare 72 340 H Code Duster with a perfect body thats ready to paint, it perfect running condition. This car looks FANTASTIC, its absolutely beautiful!! The body is 100% straight with NO RUST, the ORIGINAL seats are in decent/good shape and have racing seat belts installed. Every time I drive this car I get tons of looks, watch the video at the top of this listing and youll see why. This Mopar muscle car runs and drives great, has a clean title, has recently been primered and is ready to drive home right now. Im not thrilled parting with her, shes an amazing machine, it has road and track capability and has hookups for NOS as well, but there really is no need for a NOS tank on this car, as it is ridiculously fast. The exterior looks great - COMPLETELY STRAIGHT BODY - no bondo, no rust, no accidents, just a clean vehicle ready to be painted your favorite color. I was gonna go with flat black but never got to finish the job, I hope this car ends up with someone who appreciates her beauty. Its been garage-stored the entire time I have owned it. The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner, and it runs solid as a rock. I dont know the mileage of either the engine or the body, because the odometer was removed by the previous owner. I was told that it is somewhere near 50,000 MILES ON THE BODY, but I have no way of verifying this. I also dont know how many miles are on the engine, although it definitely isnt high mileage, and it looks, sounds, and runs very, very clean. This car has A BRAND NEW CLUTCH and BRAND NEW CLUTCH LINKAGE, and just had the brakes done! I had them replaced this week, and everything is mechanically sound. A few things to note is that this car is built for the track, so its missing 2 pieces to make it street-legal. The headlights are there and functional but need to be re-wired. The side view mirrors have also been removed. All the gauges have been replaced in the car with racing gauges, and there is no gas gauge at all now. The brake lights and turn signals work. There is a very small piece of the passenger side brake lens that is missing as well, its hard to even notice, about the size of a quarter. There are some tears in the ORIGINAL seats, youll see these in the pictures below. The passenger-side seat is in good condition as well as the back seat. The tires are also a little old and could be replaced, but they are fine to drive on as-is. It has a Mallory ignition and MSD wires, and some great looking aftermarket rims, as well as Edelbrock Head Covers, Carb, and Intake Manifold. We believe the engine is a 360, and I have included a shot of the VIN number on the engine that gives us that belief. Im not a mechanic, I just love this car, but I honestly dont have all the details on it, so if you call and ask me Ill try my very best to answer your questions, but if I dont know the answer I apologize in advance.
