This listing is for my wifes personal truck of 11 years.I purchased her a newer SUV a few years back.So the truck hasn`t been driven as much in the last few years.As can be seen in the photos it has been very well taken care of.If my memory is correct. It had about 34,000 miles on it when we purchased from University Mazda,locally.We were told it was a one owner vehicle-owned by a business man.So we should be the 2nd owners.I know of only 3 times that we have ever put truck into 4X4 mode.So the transfer case and component should be like new.This feature does still work,I check it again today.When we made the decision to sale.She asked me to list it on Ebay.With hopes someone outside our area would purchase.So she wouldn`t have to see someone else driving her truck.She didn`t really want to sale.Though it doesn`t need to be parked and not driven. We purchased the truck for her in 2000 at a cost of 23,000.00.The sticker asking price at time was 25,000.00.We got them to knock off 2,000.00.At that time and up until today.We`ve never seen another Ram 1500 that came close to the beauty of this truck.She gets stopped and asked about it all the time.As you can see in the photos it is a Mark 3 conversion optioned truck.I`ve personally never seen another Ram 1500 with this option. Some of the Mark3 upgrades it has are: black bed grab tubes,chrome step bar tubes,louver covers back door glass,electric sliding back glass-that is wired into the headliner upper console,that also has built in mood lights and the rear window switch.,it has optional CD-Cassette,AM-FM radio,inner bed liner,electric drivers seat,etc. Factory options are:5.9 litre engine,4X4 option,automatic overdrive trans,extended cab,air cond,tilt wheel,cruise,pwr windows,pwr locks. other options: tow package,came with truck when we purchased items we purchased and added:Avital alarm and remote system made by Viper-cost with installation 850.00 in 2001. bed backup light aluminum ram cover,newer steel Dodge Ram rims with the built on polished stainless cover-look real good on this truck."The original Mark3 design rims,I removed and sold about 5 yrs back.They had a plastic style hubcap that fastened with one threaded screw.To the center of hub over the 5 spoke rim.Problem was these caps at least one a year.Would fly off going down the road.The area around screw would break out.We`d get home and it was gone.These caps cost around 130.00 a piece.I replaced 5 over time,that`s 650.00.I just got tired of replacing them.So I replaced the rims with these.These actually look better than the Mark 3 rims.If I can find an old photo.I`ll post a picture of truck at end of photo listing.Showing the Mark 3 rims. The optional alarm system we had added a year after purchase.It has the key fob door lock-unlock,alarm,and if you hold 2 of the function buttons.The engine will start and run for about 15 minutes.This was a nice option to cool or heat the vehicle before entering. Some other items to mention: the oil has been changed every 5,000 miles,the oil has just been changed,and the engine a complete tuneup.Also this past Christmas for her present.I had a bodyshop put in one of the best dash cover that could be purchased.She was upset that her dash had started breaking.This cost me about 350.00.I at that time also had the interior shampoo and cleaned for her,and the under carriage and motor washed and detailed-another 250.00.Along with having the front bumper repainted,because of little white speck were bugs had hit it over time.I also had the top of the cab repainted.The clear had started to haze on top.The hood I had another shop repaint a year earlier.Because of the same problem.The sides of truck never have had this problem.The shop that painted the truck suggest for me to let him color sand the entire truck with a 2000 or finer grit paper and buff and polish.Before were I had the hood repainted.You could tell it had been.After I got the truck back.You can`t tell the hood or top was ever repainted.In fact it didn`t look like the same truck.It looked and still looks better than the day we purchased.The bumper and top painting with sanding and polishing cost me a little over 900.00.So I spent over 1,500.00 in cosmetic work in the truck 6 months ago.As far as mechanical,the truck is in good condition.The only thing I`ve recently done is replaced the battery.Over the past 11 years the truck has never left her stranded.We have over time put in a new starter 4 yrs ago,waterpump and new radiator and hoses about 2 years ago,the radiator was fine only the pump had started leaking.I replaced the radiator also,just to be safe.The fuel pump was replaced about 3 year ago.That`s about it mechanically,the truck has always been dependable. Look at the photos,you should be able to tell the great condition of the truck.I`ve seen newer trucks not this clean.There is no rust out anywere in the truck.The truck has never been around salted roads or any beaches.It is as body solid as it came new.I would drive this vehicle anywere across the country.We drove it 19 straight hours oneway on a trip we took several years back.The air cond is good and cold,and it has the original factory size tires.That drive as smooth as a car. Note*I`ve put no reserve on this truck.Also started the bid 1,500.00 less that I was offered for it on a trade-in.This is a super nice truck.I doubt you`ll find one cleaner or optioned like it. If you purchase the vehicle and want to drive it back home.We live about 3 miles from ILM Airport.You could rent a vehicle and drop off at one of the car rentals at airport.Or if you fly in either way.I can pick you up and bring you to the vehicle.If you want to hire a transport.It look like they are option on Ebay to hire one.You`ll be responsible this.
