Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 92 Fj80.The truck is equipped with a 5.7 vortec with the 4l60e transmission. The transmission has a marks 4wd adapter that marries it to the toyota transfer case. The suspension is a coil over giving roughly 6 in of lift. The truck is sitting on a brand new set of Bfg mud terrains 35x15x12.50 with less than a 1000 miles. The spare is a bfg all terrain same size with 90% tread. The truck has custom bumpers and rock guards all the way around! The safari snorkel you see in the pic is mounted but not plummed in! The diffs are geared with 4:88s both with the A.R.B. air locker system with onboard air compressor.I have air hoses that can reach around the vehicle to air each tire! The rear diff has been rebuilt recently at a cost of 1600.00.The front diff was serviced and inspected when the rear was rebuilt. The interior has leather seats out of another vehicle.I dont know what make and model they came from but i would go back with OEM leather. The truck was broken into and the 2500.00 system and stereo werre stolen.so it needs a stereo.the sreens were stolen out of the head rest.Other than that the interior is in good shape. There is also a custon built cargo box in the rear of the vehicle that stores various parts and componets!I bought the vehicle 4 years ago and have probably put less than 5000 miles on it!It was purchased to be a hunting rig.About a year after i purchased a rhino and really had no more use for it! Ihave about 16000 invested in this vehicle and know i wont get that back out.I love landcruisers i have owned up to four at one time.I have sold my fj40s and I am going to keep my fj62.All of the cruisers I have owned have had the V8 conversions and for me that is the way to go!I am going to start this auction out at a price that makes me cringe with no reserve. So basically someone is going to get one hell of a deal! good luck bidding and dont hesitate to ask any questions. I forgot to list several things about this vehicle,so here it goes. Engine- 5.7 out of a late 90's gm vehicle mileage unknown.does not smoke or use oil runs great. Transmission- 4l60e freshly rebuilt and upgraded for bigger tires. How and what was done to upgrade i dont know my mechanic said he added some things to the build.Less than 500 miles on rebuild! New brakes but the mechanic did not know how to properly bleed lines.I talked with my landcruiser guy and said there is some kind of "Y" in the lines on the rear that needs to be bled.Brakes are soft but stops the vehicle.Needs proper bleeding! Body- There is no rust! Has a few dings here and there but,No magor body damage! All Power windows and locks work except on the rear hatch. You must lock it manually! The sunroof does work! Radiator-Is stock and currently has 2 electric fans! The truck had a single fan when i purchased and i had no cooling issues! The original fan burned up and i replaced with a single fan and it had issues keeping up.So i then added a second fan and have had no issues!I do beleive if you are running the A/C on a hot day sitting in traffic it would get warm! I would go to a larger radiator if this is going to be an every day driver! A/C- The compressor is brand new and has been on the vehicle for less than an hour of run time! Also when the A/C was hooked up we could not locate the relay to wire it into the factory A/C switch! I have since located the relay and all that is needed to be done is move the existing wire over to it! What you have here is a truck that can head two directions! You could spend about 3000 and totally restore this rig to new condition! Thats including a paint job and new OEM seats! Or have a very capable trail truck and not do hardly anything besides what you want!!!!!!!!!! I have had a few different mechanics go through this thing and make it reliable! my original plan was to do all of my hunting out of this truck.I am not a person who is going to let the success or failure of my time in the woods be dependent on faulty equipment!I sold my H1 hummer to buy this rig!As I stated above I bought a rhino and figured out that works for me the best!I am giving this thing away if it sells for anything under 10000.You han can NOT buy a donor truck and build it to what this truck is for anything less than That! With all of this being said Do not kid yourselves this is close to a 20 year old 4wd that has been used as a 4wd! You never no what issues you can have next! As i have learned with everything I own there is always something!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the interest and I hope the winner of the auction enjoys this truck as I have! It is a off road beast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Feel free to give me a call 501-827-5887
