Vehicle Detail

I have known of this wagon for its entire 23 year life.It was purchased new by my neighbor in 1988-I bought it in 1994 with 57,500 miles on it ,and then used it for my daily 24 mile round trip to work.I retired in 2002 and since then it has been my weekend wheels.During this time it got whatever repairs it needed. No accidents but one ding when I lost it on an icy patch and damaged the left rear tail light on a guard rail(Maaco repair)(see photo #2).With the exceptions shown in the photos--the interior is a "9"--dark blue velour--no tears--no burns-in fact the 2nd and 3rd seats have hardly ever been sat in. GOOD POINTS:-starts first turn of the key--runs straight-good transmission(shifts on demand)-cold air(modified for R134A in 2008 at a cost of $1200)-good glass(no cracks)-good tires--good brakes-all exterior body trim parts in place-working electric antenna and tailgate window-two 6 way electric front seats-all original documentation included-very little rust(apart from the Maaco repair there is no body filler on the car)- --April 2010 passed NJ State inspection.NOT SO GOOD POINTS:-dash speaker grills damaged(photo #3)-damage to drivers side door pull and arm rest(photo #4)-original 6 speaker Premium Sound radio still in place but currently no sound-one missing Colony Park logo on right rear(photo #5)-original self-levelling pump in place but not in use-most windows and locks work, but are sluggish from lack of use-definitely needs paint.Recommended -non urgent -maintenance-new valve cover gaskets and new bottom hose.REASON FOR REGRETFULLY SELLING-moving to 55+ home and no space.****THIS WAGON IS IN DRIVEAWAY CONDITION,AND WOULD BE AN EXCELLENT STARTING PLACE FOR A FULL UP RESTORATION***
