This is a 1970 El Camino SS Clone. The car is a project that my Dad and I started 6 years ago when I was 14. I tore down and rebuilt the motor myself at college. Now I have college loans up to my butt. Time and money has caused me to sell my dream car. I know the body looks a little crappy, but that’s because the guy I trusted to restore it went at it half throttle. The motor runs strong and is very fresh! I believe the car simply needs a “face lift”. You be the judge, I’m not trying to mis-represent. It’s a great car that’s 80% there. I know the interior looks crappy in the pictures, but I do have the carpets (not shown in the pictures). Also the seat cost me $300 to recover, plus the new sponge. When the carpets are in, it looks great. I put about $1500 into the motor rebuild. I had the pulleys and hood hinges powder coated. I also had the intake and headers nickel-plated. The motor runs very strong and smooth. It only has about 150 miles on the rebuild. I have about $15,000 into the restoration of the car, but I am realistic in what I hope to get for it.
