A little about me: I am a used car dealer in Florida and have been in the business for nearly 10 years. I but quality vehicles and absolutely do not sell junk. I do my absolute best to describe everything extremely accurate and in most cases I have been told hat I tend to be very critical and over express any flaws. I do this so there will not be any disappointments since everyone's opinion of vehicle condition differs. This is my way of making a living so I would never compromise it by hiding issues whether mechanical or cosmetic. I drive all my vehicles personally and my descriptions are accurate because I take the time to personally test drive every car for atleast 50 miles. The deposit is 100% refundable if the vehicle has been misrepresented. Balance is due at pick up within a week of auction end. Please ask any questions you may have and I will answer them promptly. I PRICED THIS CAR MUCH LOWER THAN OTHER SIMILAR ONES BECAUSE I WANT TO SELL IT. DONT MISS THIS DEAL!!!! This Mercedes looks and runs very well for its age. Its a 1981 240D with the 2.4L diesel engine and automatic transmission. The engine starts up immediately and idles perfect. It drives straight with out any pull and brakes straight as well. The transmission shifts into all gears smoothly with out any hesitation, slipping or rough shifts. The 2.4L power plant is extremely economical (30+ mpg) with pretty good acceleration. I drove this car personally for a few months and it never gave me any problems or left me stranded. I can certainly vouch for its reliability as well saved me so much money at the pump!! Very few fill ups in comparison to the amount of driving.. It has manual crank windows and manual sunroof which is very beneficial because there is nothing to fail. The A/C blows cold but the compressor is near the end of its life and needs replacement soon. The interior of this car is in great shape with very few flaws. The leather is in great shape and shows very little wear with the exception of the driver seat that has a tear in the seams on the bottom cushion. The wood grain interior looks very luxurious and in great shape as well. The dash has no cracks and the headliner is intact and in very good shape. The door panels and all paneling inside look great and lack any wear. Jusr recently the speedometer and odometer occasionally stop working for somw reason but this just started happening and mileage on the car is accurate. The exterior shows real nice. The paint is nice and glossy with very little fade on the hood, roof and trunk if any at all. It has been recently buffed and waxed and shines all over as seen in the pictures. There no dents and maybe a couple of very small dings and minor scratches if any at all but I am listing it just in case I missed something. I noted a couple of small spots where the paint chipped and there is very little surface rust and it is only surface rust. the car has no rust any where including underneath, under the hood, in the trunk and in the spare tire rea. The hood ornament is missing but I do have the replacement (see pic). Front driver side turn signal lens is broken. All the manuals and books are in the glove compartment. The tires are in good shape and it also has a full size spare. No smoke, no funny noises, no warning lights, no fluid leaks, and no smoke. I require a $300 deposit through paypal immediately after the auction ends. The deposit is not negotiable and must be paid immediately. If you do not agree with these terms then please do not bid. I have had a few bidders in the past who bid on my vehicles and just change their mind. Its cost a lot of money to list these cars on Ebay so please be respectful and follow my requirements.
