Here is a very nice 87 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe,, Black on Black with new Blitz black paint and very nice original black cloth interior. Everything is working fine except a few minor items,, no belt on the A/C (not sure if it works??) right door glass sometimes sticks in the track and has trouble going all the way down,, speakers are original and dont get as loud as they used to,, thats about all i can thnk of... The lil 2.3 gets around 30mpg down the highway ,, heck ,, some new toyota's dont even get that and they brag??? This is a one owner car owned by an older lady here in Clarksville, i doubt she ever got the BOOST all the way up,, although she did elude to the fact she whooped butt on some young whipper snappers a time or two??? lol... I believe this car blends the best of a few differnt worlds,,, good fuel economy with fabulous ride quality,, respectable power and great handling,,, i guess thats why it won Motortrends "Car of the Year" award,,, a nice confirmation of a job well done by Ford... Car runs and drives wonderful,, loaded with all options... turbo spools up perfectly,, this car really puts the "FUN" back in driving i think... hate to sell it,, but moving and some sacrafices will be made... any questions feel free to call.... 615-975-6147 On May-19-11 at 23:40:54 PDT, seller added the following information: On May-20-11 at 06:23:03 PDT, seller added the following information: and........................ the belt is off a/c system so i am unsure if it works,,,, car has new fuel pump and the tank was taken out of the car and cleaned... car had sat for about 2-3 yrs before i got it and it had a full tank of 'funky' gas.... tires are about 50% i would guess.. i wouldnt hesitate to drive it anywhere,,, oil pressure is maxxed,,, coolant is clean and green,, runs cool,,, steering and suspension are tight,,, brakes are good... currently tach is not working but hopefully today we will discover why... keep ya posted...... i would say fly in and drive home no problem,, we will gladly pick you up at Nashville Airport if that works for you..
