1994 Mazda MX-3 for parts or to restore. As you can see, my poor little car has been in an accident in which both airbags deployed. No insurance claim was filed, and the car still has a clear title (not a salvage title), which I have in hand. It still runs and is drivable, but because of the airbags, I'm selling it for parts or salvage. The automatic transmission no longer goes into fourth gear and the "hold" light blinks. It goes in reverse and up through the first three gears smoothly. You can cruise at about 65. The frame was not bent in the accident. Both back Monroe struts are brand new. The brakes, tires, and wheels are all good, as is the spare. I replaced the alternator and the belts about six months ago. I put in new Bosch Titanium spark plugs and new plug wires less than one year ago. The engine has 145,000 miles on it and it starts right up and runs. The interior is in good shape. Neither of the headlights broke and the lenses are very clear for an MX-3 of this age. All the glass is good, except the windshield which was broken by the passenger side airbag cover. There's a stock AM/FM cassette player, and the speakers all sound very good. The body panels are all good from the mirrors back, except the driver's side door which has a deep crease in it. The hatch back has some paint peeling and some very minor rust near the third brake light. The exhaust system needed to be replaced before the accident. That makes it pretty loud but, hey, the kids pay extra for that these days. :-) I'm not parting it out. You have to take it whole. Please don't ask for the price of specific parts. I'm happy to answer questions about the condition of any particular part or system, but I won't pull it or sell it separately. That said, there are a lot of good parts on this car. Whether you're looking to rebuild an MX-3 that has a good front end, or you need a platform for your restoration project, this is the car for you.
